Ghislaine Maxwell was found guilty on five of six counts in trafficking teens for abuse by herself and Jeffery Epstein. Maxwell faces up to 65 years in prison.

“A unanimous jury has found Ghislaine Maxwell guilty of one of the worst crimes imaginable — facilitating and participating in the sexual abuse of children,” said U.S. Attorney for the Southern District Damian Williams. “Crimes that she committed with her long-time partner and co-conspirator, Jeffrey Epstein. The road to justice has been far too long. But, today, justice has been done.”

According to Assistant District Attorney Lara Pomerantz, Maxwell “preyed on vulnerable young girls, manipulated them, and served them up to be sexually abused.” Maxwell is alleged to have been the “right-hand” partner for Epstein, helping to groom vulnerable teenage girls as young as 14 for abuse at his residences, including his island, Little S. James, which some named “Pedophile Island”. Epstein is believed to have committed suicide in his jail cell in July of 2019.

Over the course of several years, Maxwell and Epstein had been linked with Maxwell has been associated with several prominent people, including Prince Andrew, Bill Clinton, Michael Bloomberg, lawyer Alan Dershowitz, and others.

Sex trafficking of minors, or Child Sex Trafficking, extends far past Ghislaine Maxwell and Jeffrey Epstein.
